Customer Services:

Our team is always ready to help with any queries you may have. You can contact us by email at or by telephone on 0113 243 9121. Our opening hours are Monday to Friday 8am to 4pm. To assist with your enquiries, please quote your order number and we’ll be ready to assist you. 

Order Tracking:

To check your order status, click on the Your Account link at the top of the page, sign in and then click Review and cancel orders. You will be able to view the status and contents of any orders that you have made. If your order is incomplete or damaged, please contact us within 3 working days.

Delivery & Charges:

Where possible our team will get your order out to you within 2 working days of placing your order. Occasionally a product may be out of stock so please allow up to 5 days for delivery. We use Royal Mail Tracked 24 (RM Tracked 24) for all our deliveries – this service means you should receive your parcel the day after you place your order. This does not include delivery on Saturday, Sunday or Bank Holidays. For your order to be dispatched using this service, you must order between Monday and Thursday before 1pm. Should your order be received after this time, it will be dispatched the next available working day. Please note if you place your order on a Friday before 1pm it should be received on a Monday. We cannot be held responsible for RM postal delays and are not liable for any consequential loss due to late or failed delivery nor will we refund postage costs. In the event of delays due to Royal Mail, we are unable to investigate any delays with Royal Mail until 5 working days after the order has been dispatched. Any lost, missing or damaged orders must be reported to us within 3 working days of delivery. Notification should be made either to our Customer Service Team by telephone 0113 243 9121 or email 

There will be occasions when a requirement to send items to an alternative address will be necessary, in these circumstances, please complete a separate order for each address. For your information, separate delivery charges will apply to each address. If your order is heavier than any of our plans allow, we will arrange a courier service instead of our usual shipping plans.

Where a promotional offer of free postage exists, you should be aware that this applies to addresses in the UK only.

Where an insecure postal address is listed (for example PO Box address or some communal addresses), we reserve the right not to deliver orders. You will be notified should this affect your order and an alternative address should be supplied.

UK Postal Options:

Royal Mail Tracked 24 for orders over £30 is free: for all orders from the day of dispatch, Royal Mail aims to deliver the package within 24 hours. Royal Mail Tracked 24 for orders under £30 is £4.50. For all orders from the day of dispatch, Royal Mail aims to deliver the package within 24 hours.

International Delivery: 

We will no longer ship items internationally from our website. However, you can purchase Leighton Denny products via our approved supplier, Nail Polish Direct, for international delivery.

Gift With Purchase:

Once your cart has the chosen value of qualifying products, a 'Free Gift With Purchase' will appear in the shopping cart. Limit of one gift per order and one gift per customer. The gift will be dispatched with your chosen items from your qualifying order of products. If you return an order that qualified for a gift, it can only be refunded if the gift is also returned. The gift cannot be exchanged or refunded. Gift subject to availability. 

Refunds and Exchange:

Unless an item is faulty, for health, safety, and hygiene reasons, if the product packaging has been opened then we are unable to provide you with a refund or exchange. In the event that there is an error in product supply, or the product is faulty, we will be more than happy to refund the delivery charge. (Leighton Denny Ltd) is not liable for a delivery charge for an unwanted item.

Returns Procedure and Returns Address:

At we hope you will be pleased with your products. If there is a need to return item(s) bought from us, to receive an exchange or refund the following process must be followed:

Notification of problems should be made either to our Customer Service Team by telephone 0113 243 9121 or email within 3 working days of your order having been delivered. Please e-mail us an image of any damaged parcels or products. 

We will only issue a refund on receipt of the returned product. If the returns procedure has not been followed correctly, we reserve the right to refuse a refund. This does not affect your statutory rights.

Where the conditions of the product(s) are met, and the product(s) are returned to us within 28 days of the date of receipt.

• The product must be returned undamaged and in the original packaging.

• The product must not have been used.

• It is in a fully resalable condition

• The product must be accompanied by a copy of the despatch note or VAT invoice together with the reason for return.

Crystal Nail File 25-Year Guarantee:

Leighton Denny Crystal Nail Files purchased for personal use from an authorised retailer are covered by our 25-year guarantee. The 25-year guarantee is valid for the filing surface only, and if the filing surface goes blunt, but not if it has been misused or the file is broken. The guarantee does not cover logo print, embellishments, or the case. 

Before returning the file, we recommended cleaning the filing surface first, as the natural nail debris can collect on the surface and can make it appear blunt. You can do this using handwash and a soft brush, if that doesn’t renew the surface, then please return the clean file to:

Please include a copy of your proof of purchase with your name, address & email. Please also obtain proof of postage. We recommend that you return your item via Royal Mail Recorded (or other similar tracked service) to ensure you have proof of postage.

Once the file has been received back to us and checked, then we will email you regarding sending a replacement out. If the exact design is not available for replacement, a product of equal value and similar design, where available, will be provided. 

General Terms and Conditions

These terms and conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with English Law. If any provision of these terms and conditions shall be unlawful, void, or for any reason unenforceable then that provision shall be deemed severable and shall not affect the validity and enforceability of the remaining provisions.

Unless otherwise specified, the materials on this website are directed solely at consumers who access this website from the United Kingdom. Those accessing this site from other locations are responsible for compliance with local laws if and to the extent local laws are applicable.

Any contract between us, whether for use of the site or in relation to the purchase of products through the site will be governed by the laws of England and Wales and all parties submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the English Courts. Any contract will be communicated in English.
